Short Term Courses - FSSC V5.1 - Food Safety System & Certification– Internal Auditor Training

Course Description:

This Internal auditor training program on FSSC V5.1 is structured to provide an overall understanding of ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system requirements along with sector specific prerequisite program (PRPs) requirements (ISO/TS 22002-x-series or other specific PRP standard) and FSSC 22000 Additional requirements.

 

Objective:

The objective of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to understand the concept of risk based thinking for any organization in the food chain, understanding the requirements of FSMS, PRP (applicable sector), additional requirement of the standard, documented information required by the standard and the requirements specified by ISO 19011 (Guidelines to conduct audit).

• Food Safety Management representatives

• Members responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, auditing, and improving Food Safety Management Systems at their establishment.

• Professionals who have a role to play in the implementation of Food Safety Management System

• The Organization representatives certified for FSSC 22000 V 5.0.

• Personnel from consultants, technical and Quality Managers who are interested in learning FSSC requirements.

 

Eligibility:

Graduation in Science and Candidates having more than 1 year of experience about FSMS and its operation.  

Pre-requisite Information required:

Before starting this course, learners are expected to have the following prior knowledge:

· Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle

· Food safety management concepts, including HACCP, hazard analysis, hazard and risk assessment and management, and the relationship between food safety management, customer satisfaction and customer food safety requirements

· Commonly used food safety management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 22000 and FSSC v5

· The requirements of FSSC V5 and ISO 22000 which may be gained by completing a foundation training course or equivalent.

· Basic knowledge about ISO 19011:2018 Annexures.
