This course covers the process approach to Energy Management Systems, the requirements of ISO 27001 and how to plan, complete and report the audit of an entire Energy Management System. The course is conducting by IIMS for individual seeking position as Lead Auditor/ Auditor with Certification body as Lead Auditor/ Auditor Registration.

Objectives:

v  Understand the operations of an Energy Management System based on ISO 50001

v  Acknowledge the correlation between ISO 50001 and other standards and regulatory frameworks

v  Understand an auditor’s role to: plan, lead and follow-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011

v  Learn how to lead an audit and audit team

v  Learn how to interpret the requirements of ISO 50001 in the context of an EnMS audit

v  Acquire the competencies of an auditor to: plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports, and follow-up on an audit in compliance with ISO 19011

Eligibility

Graduation in Science and Candidates having work experience about EnMS. 

             Pre-requisite Information required:

v  Have prior knowledge and understanding of Energy Management System - ISO 50001 will be an added advantage.

v  Gaps in knowledge will not be covered during this course.
