Lead Auditor Training - Food Safety Management System-ISO 22000 (FSMS)

Description:

The Food Safety Management System Lead Auditor Certification is designed to incorporate a candidate with the knowledge and skills required to assess the compliance of Food Safety Management Systems set up under the requirements of ISO 22000. This course provides basic training for potential FSMS Lead Auditor and Auditor with the knowledge and skills to prepare, conduct, and follow up 1st/2nd/3rd party of FSMS audits. IIMS organizing 5 Days of Lead Auditor Training programme based on ISO 22000 standards gives insight on requirements, implementation and maintenance of Food Safety Management System/ ISO 22000 standard. The course is conducting by IIMS for individual seeking position as Lead Auditor/ Auditor with Certification body as Lead Auditor/ Auditor Registration.

 

Objectives:

To have a good understanding and inter-dependencies and relationship between

v  Global food safety and quality standards

v  Industrial hygiene and safety practices

v  Applicable Statutory & Regulatory requirements, codes of practices, organizational requirements w.r.t to ISO 22000.

v  Development and Maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures

v  ISO 22000, and Technical Specifications (ISO 19011)

v  Food Safety Management System establishment (Basics)

v  Plan, conduct, report, and follow up a FSMS audit.

v  Personnel who are involved in operation/site activities who wish to gain maximum benefit from the FSMS implementation.

v  Members/supporting personnel of the Food Safety Management Team who have responsibility to audit/implement/improve a FSMS.

 

Eligibility

Graduation in Science and Candidates having more than 1 year of experience about FSMS and its operation. 

           Pre-requisite Information Required

v  Management systems: The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle; The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continual improvement.

v  Food safety management: A knowledge of the principles of food safety management including prerequisite programmes as specified in ISO/TS 22002-1 (Basic requirements for the Food Safety Management System in Food Manufacturing) and HACCP.

v  ISO 22000: Knowledge of the requirements of Food Safety Management System.
