This awareness training course is essentially covers the basic requirements of FSSC 22000 V5.1, with relevant amendments from FSSC V5.0, with information about Food Safety Management System and Additional requirements as per the requirements of its stakeholders, its interpretation & hence providing a great amount of awareness to group of people in the organization.
Objectives:
The essential objective of this course is to create awareness within the organization regarding basic requirements of the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) standard & provide working knowledge on how these requirements can be interpreted within organization’s products, processes, services & customers. By completion of this course, the delegates will also gain formal understanding on concept of FSSC 22000 version 5.1 standard as well as compliance to GFSI requirements.
• Understand the basic elements of a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Understand the concepts, methods, and techniques used to implement a Quality Management System.

Graduation in Science and Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification exam or awaiting their results, are also eligible to apply/ attend the training program.

This Awareness course is relevant to all those involved in any aspect of food handling, through the supply chain, retail, and food preparation. Anyone working under the scope of the organization, i.e.; department including production, Operation, Purchase, External providers, Stakeholders or any other interested parties involved in maintaining or supervising of an Food Safety management System. Includes:
• Food Safety Management representatives.
• Professionals who have a role to play in the implementation of Food Safety System & Certification.
• Employees who will be part of Food Safety Management System based on ISO 22000:2018 standards.
Eligibility:
Graduation in Science and Candidates having more than 1 year of experience about FSMS and its operation.
Pre-requisite Information required:
Before starting this course, learners are expected to have the following prior knowledge:
• Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle
• Food safety management concepts, including HACCP, hazard analysis, hazard and risk assessment and management, and the relationship between food safety management, customer satisfaction and customer food safety requirements
• Commonly used food safety management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 22000 and FSSC v5
• The requirements of FSSC V5 and ISO 22000 which may be gained by completing a foundation training course or equivalent.
